We know you have many choices when choosing a General Surgeon, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
Our office accepts a variety of HMOs, PPOs, and other health plans. Please call our office to verify acceptance of your insurance carrier.

Our main office is in Tacoma. Surgery is performed at St. Joseph's as well as St Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor, and at day surgery centers in Tacoma and Gig Harbor. We often perform surgery at our own Day Surgery Center in Gig Harbor. We also perform spine exposure surgery at St Francis Hospital in Federal Way.
Our main office is located across from St. Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma, on the corner of 19th and "I" Street. 1802 S. Yakima Ave, Suite 202, Tacoma, WA, 98405.
Please note that the entrance to our parking lot is on 19th Street between Yakima and "I" Streets.
What to expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Please bring all current insurance cards, picture identification, and a referral from your primary physician if your insurance company requires one. Also bring a list of all of your current medications. We verify all insurance eligibility before you arrive. If you have questions regarding your benefits, please call your insurance company. Be prepared to pay any contracted co-pays, which are due at the time of service. We look forward to your first visit.
All copays are due at time of service. If we should have to bill you, a billing fee may be applied. We will attempt to bill your primary and secondary insurances. Whatever balance they apply to you is your responsibility. You will receive a statement with your balance due. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard or Money Order. If you are unable to pay the entire amount, please call our office to set up a payment plan with the Office Manager.
